| This Fabulous Isidro Cane is in Excellent Condition,c.1900. Hoof shaped handle fashioned of blond horn attached to the wooden shaft with a gold band. The tip of the cane, or the bottom of the horse’s foot is fashioned of mother of pearl with a gold ornament engraved, “Isidro.” This cane could refer to the Hipódromo de San Isidro, a horse track outside of Buenos Aires.
