| This Resplendent Baroque style Italian Painted Console is in Excellent Condition, c 1840. Featuring Four ornately carved legs attached by an X shaped stretcher centered by a blooming finial. Our console’s serpentine curves and scrolling legs and feet can only be classified as High Baroque Revival styling. The Italian Baroque Revival in furniture styles followed quickly on the heals of the Rococo Revival of the 1830’s. The console supports a richly patterned onyx top with black marble banding at the edge. Measuring 26 1/2” D x 71 1/2” W x 34 1/2” H it is incredible for the most demanding of Continental Designs.
