This Magnificent Oil on Canvas of a Child holding a Cluster of Grapes, Attributed to Adrien Joseph Verhoeven-Ball (1824-1882) is in Excellent Condition. In a Fabulous Gilt (22kt Gold Leaf) Frame. Verhoeven-Ball is a Belgian painter who studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Anvers. For ten years he also held the office of president at the Academy. His paintings can be found in the collection of the Museum of Montpellier, France and Montreal, Canada. He focused his work in the areas of genre painting, including portraits and still life. He is listed in Benezit and P. & V. Berko “ Dictionary of Belgian Painters born between 1750 and 1875 “Knokke 1981, p. 752. Measuring Canvas Alone 18 1/4” wide x 22” tall, Gilt Frame 4 3/4” deep x 34 3/8” wide x 38 3/8” tall. Incredible for the Most Demanding Fine Art Collector or Design.
